Set width, height, longest edge or percentage, then use center crop or padding. Specify a target in KB; 0 keeps file size unrestricted.

How to convert JFIF, JPG and PNG images

  1. Choose images from your device. Original dimensions and formats are selected by default.
  2. Review size and shape, press Next, and choose JPG, PNG or WebP in File format.
  3. Continue through background, file size and naming, then run all files.
  4. Review the results and download individual images, or prepare and save a ZIP.

Image conversion questions

Can I convert a JFIF image to PNG?

Yes. Input supports JPG, JPEG, JFIF, JPE, JIF, JFI, PJPEG, PJP, PNG and WebP. Select PNG in the File format step.

Which format keeps a transparent background?

Choose PNG or WebP. JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas use your selected background color. Padding fills transparent areas with the selected background color, even for PNG and WebP. WebP encoding depends on your browser.

Can I reduce a photo below a specified KB limit?

You can set a target file size. If it cannot be reached at your dimensions and minimum quality, the file fails clearly. Increase the target or allow additional shrinking and retry.

Are my photos uploaded?

Selected files, filenames and previews stay in your browser. Refreshing or closing the tab clears the selection from memory. Loading the site and hosting access logs are separate network activity.

Choose up to 30 files, 25 MB each and 150 MB total. HEIC, AVIF, BMP and TIFF conversion, SVG rendering and animated image inputs are unsupported. Use Rename files when you need byte-identical copies.
